I don't suffer salesmen at the best of times and I feel the need to share two recent encounters.
- We're looking at getting a new car, and test drove a Honda CRV last week. I made the mistake of giving the salesmen my phone number. Now, he's called at least 3 times bothering me about buying this car. I didn't really like the car, but he's really scotched his chances now!
- This indicident, happened quite unbelievably, at Harvey Norman. I go there looking for a mouse, but apparently we don't need cords anymore and need to but batteries ad infinitum. Anyway, they didn't have the mouse I wanted, despite having that one a month ago. The droid goes on to say the one I wanted was, in a few more words, crap and I should use the one he uses at home; we all take our IT cues from HN droids, don't we ? Anyway, I walked off saying that I'd buy it elsewhere and he's still trying to foister his personally preferred mouse on me.
