Weekend at Stephen & Michelle's

It wasn't quite like Bernie's as in there was no-one who death we were trying to cover up

Rather, it began with getting away late (as per usual), and a really yummy roast dinner was well-received upon arrival.
The Kangaroos put on a good display to come from behind to beat the Kiwis 20-15. Well done chaps. Chris and Michelle researched cubby houses online and found them to be a little expensive. Perhaps we should just convert an old caravan.

We then played Poker, 500 and Yahtzee (none of which was kind to me and Stephen delighted in this fact) and hit the sack around 2:30am

When we woke up in the morning, we headed to Manly for some breakfast, or so we thought. By the time we got there it was 11:15, for we had a stopover at Garden City to buy some shoes for Chris, as Harrison had not put them in the car the night before. We got breakfast/lunch from "Pelican Pete's" fish and chips shop and while nothing stellar, the food was certainly edible. Poor Chris burned her tongue on coffee that was quite hot.

After brunch, we walked around and out along a small pier/jetty, where we watched Rick catch a few fish. Then it was a short drive up the road to a "dog park", where Milly could run around unleashed. After Milly tired of this, we headed back to Tarragindi, Chris had a pending appointment anyway, packed up and headed back to Parkwood.

All in all, a very enjoyable weekend and it will have to be repeated once we get another chance.
